Dr. Hantang Qin of Iowa State University has been awarded a Research Building Seed Grant for his proposal, “Process Control of Electrohydrodynamic Inkjet Printing for In-Space Manufacturing.” Dr. Qin’s proposal outlines collaborative work with NASA Marshall Space Flight Center to enhance printing capabilities to achieve flexible electronics and thin-film printing for in-space manufacturing. This will provide a sustainable and versatile solution to design and manufacturing of space architectures, both in-transit and on-surface.
